The genre for this magazine is pop, reason why I think this is because 2 males from a popular pop boy group, One Direction, are on the double page spread.
Target Audience
Could be mostly for females but also males too. I think it's for mostly girls because the pages have 2 attractive males from the popular boy band and I also think think the pages are towards some males too because of the colour scheme, blue & grey is likely to be a boys colour but I think the colour scheme is in different shades of blue because of the 2 males piece of clothing and it also the grey makes the colours look warmer and not as bold.
Layout
There is an image on each of the pages and the text is also on the same side on each page, this makes it easier for the reader to read the double page spread.
Representation
Both males are posing differently, the male on the left side has his right arm on his left forearm, this could mean that is is either uncomfortable or he is just simply posing to the camera The male on the right looks relaxed and is smiling, he looks more comfortable than the 1st male. Both shot types are Medium long shots because the main attention is towards the males and makes it easier for female readers to see their facial expressions.
